Since the beginning of the week, the Moto Club Brioude gives everything to make of the final of the 2014 Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship a great success. And the least we can say is that the riders and the spectators have every played the game tonight at the KTM Super Test.
Nearly 7,000 spectators were given appointments and thus kindled a beautiful but fresh evening. Each time, the audience gave voice to encourage the 110 riders and stars of the sport responded generously by linking their spectacular riding…

Inseparable during training as during test walk, we met Christophe NAMBOTIN (FRA – KTM) and Pierre-Alexandre RENET (F – HVA) for an interview. A few hours before the last KTM Super Test of the season, E1 and E2 World Champions are chatting on their seasons and their projects…
It’s been a month since you became World Champion. I guess you pretty well celebrated this?
Pierre-Alexandre RENET: “Right now, not so much. On Sunday evening after the race in Italy, as I had the plane on Monday early morning, I simply made a small restaurant with family and friends who made the trip. And then I broke my foot in Lumezzane and I had to stay quiet at home so I have not really celebrated the title. Then, there are still a few dates before the end of the season. Between the World Championship final, the ISDE and the French Championship it’s not over, I think I’ll really celebrate it in November…”
Christophe NAMBOTIN: “Title or no title, I had already decided to go on vacation just after Italy. I did not celebrate but I made a break of a week and totally cut off with the bike. Later, as Pela said, I didn’t wanted to release me too with deadlines coming and I want to especially don’t do like last year when I finished the season pretty bad in St Flour on a big crash. I continue the training until Six Day but I have already planned a party in November to celebrate this title!”

The 2014 Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship heads to Brioude in France to close out what has already been a dramatic and action packed season to date.
Despite two world titles already decided, the Grand Prix AMV of France has still a lot to offer. The battle for honours in the Enduro 3 class is still very much to play along with the titles in the Junior, FIM Youth Cup 125cc and Women categories!
15 years of patience…
After the Moto Club du Haut Cantal and the city of St Flour in 2013, it is their “neighbours” of the Moto Club de Brioude (Haute-Loire), who have been designated by the FIM and the Federation Française de Motocyclisme (FFM) to organise the seventh and final round of the 2014 EWC. After 15 years of absence, the Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship finds its way back to the beautiful town of Brioude. This Motorcycle Club – ultra motivated and chaired by Hervé SAUVAYRE – organised in addition to their world round in 1999, 15 rounds of the French Enduro Championship (last organization in October 2012), 4 European Enduro Championship rounds and the ISDT (formerly ISDE) in 1980! With an excellent knowledge in promoting enduro, the Moto Club de Brioude is very experienced and should offer riders and spectators a great show throughout the weekend.
