The two phantoms Gustaf Göthe and David Senning each captured a gold medal in the 1922 ISDT in Switzerland. Consequently, in the following year, Sweden hosted the International Six Days Trial. It was run out of the capital city Stockholm for 1,863 kilometres before returning to the finish line. Being there, the local Husqvarna team captured victory, winning the International Trophy.
But let’s start in 1922 when the ISDT was organized by Switzerland. Three Husqvarna riders from Sweden took part in this event, where the competitors had to manage the steep hills of the Alps. It not only strained the engines of the workhorses going uphill, but also put severe pressure on the brakes going down the slopes. And most riders were not used to such obstacles, which of course influenced their performance. Conquering the dwindling passes in the Alps, many a rider got stuck with problems and had to abandon the race. The Husqvarna riders had the disadvantage of the weight of their machines, which caused them to ride with care. The engines tended to overheat as they were used to the limit. In the end the Swedish Husky team came home third in the result sheets – after England and Switzerland.

Een klein groepje rijders heeft zich slechts voor één dag ingeschreven voor de Kampioensrit 2018 in Vorden.
Deze rijders in de Dagstartklasse (+ Vintageklasse) mogen natuurlijk hun motor al op donderdag 01-11 a.s. inleveren, maar kunnen er ook voor kiezen om dit op de wedstrijddag zelf te doen.
Ben je rijder in de Dagstartklasse en rijd je alleen vrijdag 2 november: keuren op vrijdagochtend is van 07.30 uur tot 08.00 uur.
Ben je rijder in de Dagstartklasse en rijd je alleen zaterdag 3 november: keuren op zaterdagochtend is van 07.30 uur tot 08.00 uur.
Op beide ochtenden wordt gekeurd volgens de eendaagse ONK keuringsmethode.

Fittingly for the iconic event’s 25th anniversary, Husqvarna Bicycles is the official e-bike partner of the 2019 Erzbergrodeo and will support Europe’s biggest offroad event with test rides, guided tours and a series of unique events.
The four-day-long Erzbergrodeo is the world’s hardest enduro event and the largest of its kind in Europe. A real challenge for the riders as well as their motorcycles. The Erzbergrodeo has been taking place near Eisenerz in Austria since 1995. From May 29 to June 2, 2019 Husqvarna Bicycles will be part of the challenge to conquer the infamous ‘Iron Giant’.
