Before the Czech Republic GP the battle for the best performer of the Akrapovic SuperTest is very close. Seven points is separating 4 of them. For Matteo CAVALLO, Steve HOLCOMBE, Thomas OLDRATI and Alex SALVINI the battle of the big guns has started. Held in front of a massive crowd, the opening of the 6th round of the season has responded to all its promises.
What spectacular result !!! It is a draw between Matteo CAVALLO (ITA-SHERCO) and Brad FREEMAN (GBR-Beta) they have both stopped the clock with an exact same time of 2’07.31. Behind them there is Loïc LARRIEU (FRA-TM) at only one hundred of a second. Alex SALVINI (ITA-Honda) and Thomas OLDRATI (ITA-Honda) are closing the top 5. Steve HOLCOMBE (GBR-Beta) is P9 nearly 3 seconds behind the terrific duo.
Will RUPRECHT (AUS-Yamaha) is back and he signs his return by setting the best time in the Junior class. The southern hemisphere is very dominant in the young class as Hamish MCDONALD (NZ-Sherco) is the fastest in the Youth 125cc. David KNIGHT (GBR-TM) is the reference for the Champion Lubricants Enduro Open World Cup.
Matteo CAVALLO could clinch the Trophy of best performer of the 2019 Akrapovic SuperTest. Only Thomas OLDRATI can challenge him during the big finale of the championship in Ambert (France) at the end of September.
