This 4th Super Test powered by Akrapovic of the season have given a great show to the many Greek public present at the end of the afternoon on the circuit of Serres. And they were rewarded with a great final!
Indeed, during this inaugural test, we witnessed 6 leader changes between Ruy BARBOSA (CL – Husqvarna), Brad FREEMAN (GB – Beta Boano), Andrea VERONA (I – TM), Matteo CAVALLO (I – Sherco), Thomas OLDRATI (I – Honda) and Loïc LARRIEU (F – TM).
At the end, FREEMAN, current leader of the EnduroGP, was the last man standing with a time of 1’44”91! He finished 0.49 ahead of his former teammate Beta Boano and E1 rival, Matteo CAVALLO.
The Sherco rider is surrounded by British as it is Steve HOLCOMBE (GB – Beta) who signs the third best time in 1’46”82 right in front of LARRIEU and OLDRATI!
In the Junior category, Andrea VERONA dominated the debates with a score of 1’47”43 just ahead of the Chilean BARBOSA and the Sherco Factory rider Théo ESPINASSE (F).
Finally, in the Champion Lubricants Enduro Open World Cup, David KNIGHT (GB – TM) dominates the outright in 1’53”80 ahead of the Portuguese Gonçalo REIS (Gas Gas – 2’01”30) and the Belgian Mathias VAN HOOF (Beta – 2’10”55).
In the provisional ranking of the Akrapovic Super Test Award, OLDRATI is still leading the way for 3 points ahead of HOLCOMBE, CAVALLO and SALVINI. This first test of the Grand Prix Maxxis of Greece augurs two great days of racing around a city that particularly appreciates the Enduro…
