After a single season spent under the awning of Beta Factory racing, Christophe CHARLIER (F) has decided to change brands for 2019, and he will now ride with Honda RedMoto Racing!
After a half-hearted season riding the Beta RR 390 and finishing 12th in the EnduroGP class (7th in E2), the rider from Ajaccio in Corsica decided to put an end to his collaboration with the Italian team and their manager Fabrizio DINI.
For this new season, the 2017 ”Rookie of the Year” will team up with Thomas OLDRATI (I) in the Honda RedMoto Racing team managed by Matteo BOFFELLI…
CHARLIER, the only rider to win an ISDE and the MX of Nations in the same year, will continue to ride in the Enduro 2 class on the all-new CRF 450RX.
Christophe CHARLIER: “I’m very happy to join the Honda RedMoto Racing Team. This team gives a lot of hard work and professionalism and in recent years, they have developed a very good bike with the CRF 450RX Enduro. I am convinced that we can do great things with the team and the manager Matteo BOFFELLI.”
Matteo BOFFELLI: “CHARLIER is a very fast rider who has proven his value again this season. His signature means that RedMoto and Honda Motor Europe are placing a lot of importance on EnduroGP, and it is now time to prepare well for 2019. We want to continue to grow and bring the Honda RedMoto CRF 250R Enduro and CRF 450RX Enduro onto the highest step of the podium.”
A nice signing for the Honda RedMoto team, who seem to be putting a lot of emphasis on this new season in EnduroGP…
