The first newbie in the Beta Boano team is already known by many in the EnduroGP paddock, Lorenzo MACORITTO (I). The Junior European Vice Champion E2 / E3 will ride the Beta RR 300 in the Junior category.
He will be joined by Thomas MARINI (I), former MX rider and double Italian MX Champion in the 300 2-stroke class. MARINI will also ride the 300 in EJ, just like MACORITTO.
Finally, Jarno BOANO has signed one of the most interesting prospects hailing from Italy, Matteo PAVONI! European Champion in all categories in 2017, the former protégé of Fabio FARIOLI will finally make his debut in the Maxxis FIM EnduroGP World Championship in the 125cc Youth category…
To supervise all these ‘kids’, Jarno BOANO has retained former rider Deny PHILIPPAERTS as a coach to guide them through their championship debuts and encourage them during the race days.
The current E1 World Champion, Brad FREEMAN, will stay with the team and will aim to retain his crown in the small class whilst also battling for the EnduroGP title. His experience will also be a help for his new team-mates.
As is the case every season, Jarno BOANO has decided to put his trust, experience, and expertise into the stars of the future and it could well pay off, just as it did for Italian top guns Davide SORECA and Matteo CAVALLO who began their careers with the Beta Boano team. These three new youngsters could easily turn into title contenders…
