That’s it! The transfer market in EnduroGP is well and truly underway! After the announcement that Matteo CAVALLO (I) moves to Sherco last week, TM Factory has just revealed its line-up for the 2019 season… And this one is very intriguing!
While the focus was on young people in 2018 with the signing of Andrea VERONA (I) and Davide SORECA (I) to support the experienced Eero REMES (SF), Luca CHERUBINI, TM Factory team manager, changed his mind completely for 2019 by signing two established names: Loïc LARRIEU (F) and Danny MCCANNEY (GB)!
The Frenchman, who was without a contract after the withdrawal of the Outsider Yamaha team, will line up in the Enduro 2 category riding the EN 300 Fi while MCCANNEY, after a single year at Gas Gas, decided to join the Italian firm from Pesaro and to ride in E3 on the EN 300 Fi 2-stroke.
Andrea VERONA will be the third rider in this exciting team, the 2017 World 125cc Champion and 2018 Junior 1 Champion will be a favorite for the overall Junior crown…
Luca CHERUBINI, Team Manager: “We have high hopes for 2019! We are confident that Loïc, Danny and Andrea will fight at the forefront in their respective categories. We notice and appreciate the esteem and interest that the riders have in TM now, thanks to the work done during all these years and the three world titles brought by Eero. After six seasons rich in emotions, we are ready to start a new chapter and be present in three big markets (France, Great Britain, Italy) with three high-flying riders.”
This means the exit of Davide SORECA, and also the man who brought three titles to the Italian brand, Eero REMES. A new era is coming to TM Factory and the shiny new team should be one of the most competitive in the 2019 paddock!
