The 2018 season has just come to a close, but ABC Communication are already busily preparing for next year’s Maxxis FIM EnduroGP World Championship. As part of these preparations Bastien & Alain BLANCHARD paid a visit to the Racing Moto Club Corsica and its president Laurent PERALDI…
For the first time in the history of EnduroGP, a race will take place in Corsica and more precisely on the site of St Antoine in Ajaccio. Christophe CHARLIER’s Moto Club (F), the RMCC, will offer the only Enduro in the calendar with a different format; an Enduro Sprint on Saturday and a GNCC on Sunday.
Received at the town hall of Ajaccio, the ABC Communication team were able to appreciate the excitement which already lies around this 4th round of the 2019 season. With a paddock that should be located near the port of Ajaccio and the Rue Fesch.
Laurent Peraldi: “We are very pleased to host an EnduroGP round in 2019. The Ajaccio Town Hall, the Corsican Assembly and the Chamber of Commerce are all behind us and are ready to help! The Paddock will be located in the heart of Ajaccio and we are thinking about organising the Friday evening Super Test at Place Miot, on the shores of the Mediterranean… Then everything will happen around St Antoine where we have all the facilities for the officials, the teams and the riders, a nice MX track to which we will add more technical passages, and keeping a natural and a beautiful Enduro Test in the countryside. And then we hope to have a nice party around the race with a parade in the Rue Fesch on Thursday afternoon and concerts on Friday and Saturday evening.”
The Racing Moto Club Corsica dear to Laurent PERALDI is ready to go down in history and become the first club to organise a round of the Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship on the beautiful island of Corsica. See you on the weekend of June 15th & 16th in Napoleon Bonaparte’s city. And for the fans of enduro, what could be better than combining this GP with a holiday in Corsica?
