After a gruelling Iberian tour, all eyes are now on the Grand Prix of Estonia which will take place on 1, 2 and 3 of June in the capital of the country, Tallinn. For this event, the local organiser, RedMoto Motoklubi, have already announced that in addition to a National category, nearly 17 Estonian riders will come to rub shoulders with the creme de la creme of World Enduro including… Aigar LEOK!
Retired from EnduroGP since 2015, LEOK will return to the International circuit for a race in his home country.
Fun-loving and well-liked by the whole paddock, the ex-TM Factory Racing rider had a decent career in the FIM Maxxis Enduro World Championship with a lot of success including Vice-World E3 Champion in 2013 and two third places in 2014 & 2015.
Now, “The Annoying LEOK” as he is known, focuses mainly on the Estonian MX Championship, while also participating in some local Enduro races. For this first Estonian GP in the history of World Enduro, the rider from Sömerpalu will face Jamie MCCANNEY (GB – Yamaha), Brad FREEMAN (UK – Beta Boano) and Antoine BASSET (F – Gas Gas) in Enduro 1.
And he will also bring his little brother Martin with him, the younger LEOK having already competed in the Junior category in the past, this time he will face the stars of the E2 class!
With Aigar’s wildcard entry we are guaranteed a good atmosphere as, during his years in the World Enduro paddock, he was always ready to enjoy himself. So it is with great pleasure that all the riders and fans of EnduroGP welcome back LEOK at his home race…
Always one for surprises, he could be ready to aim for a podium in Enduro 1 in front of his home crowd, and he’ll certainly put on a show!
