After participating in the first four Grand Prix of the season in 2017, and with some Top 10 results in the bag, the Finn Antti HANNINEN (Husqvarna) has decided to come back again in 2018!
Staying true to the Everlast Welds team managed by Jani FORSGREN, HANNINEN is a well-known face around the EnduroGP paddock. Indeed, the young rider has already reached the podium in Youth 125cc in 2016 and was one of the main players in the Junior category at the beginning of 2017.
This season, while there were no Junior category planned for the season opener at Lake Päijänne; HANNINEN participated in the National category with some success since he finished 4th position in scratch!
A friend of E1 World Champion Eero REMES (SF – TM), HANNINEN has been in Spain for a month and is actively preparing to start the Junior season with the Iberian tour. This year, he will ride a Husqvarna 250 4-stroke and will therefore be in Junior 1 against Albin ELOWSON (S – Yamaha), Andrea VERONA (I – TM) and Mikael PERSSON (S – KTM).
So there is a big challenge awaiting the Finn, but the Everlast rider has already shown great strength of character in the past and could well run at the front this year in the Under 23 year (Junior) class…
Along with SVARD, KYTONEN and JUKOLA, HANNINEN represents the future of a nation that has always been in the limelight in Enduro and is already looking for a successor to REMES!
