Following the creation of the EnduroGP category starting in 2016, the FIM and ABC Communication are pleased to present the new Enduro visual identity.
With this move, Enduro is following in the footsteps of other successful and high profile FIM World Championships. The new category showcasing the sport’s World elite is part of a plan to revitalise and streamline the image of Enduro with the media and the public.
The 2016 edition of this Championship kicks off on 08 Avril in Agadir (Morocco) with the first of 8 races. EnduroGP rider and manufacturer rankings will be established on the basis of the general rankings of the three categories E1, E2 and E3.
The 2016 FIM MAXXIS Enduro classes:
EnduroGP – E1, E2 and E3
Enduro 1 – 100cc to 125cc 2-stroke/ 175cc to 250cc 4-stroke
Enduro 2 – 175cc to 250cc 2-stroke / 290cc to 450cc 4-stroke
Enduro 3 – 290cc to 500cc 2-stroke / 475cc to 650cc 4-stroke
Enduro Junior – The riders must be under 23 years old on 1 January of the year of the Championship and have a valid driving licence.
Enduro Youth – 100cc to 125cc, 2-stroke / The participating riders must be under 20 years old on 1 January of the year of the Championship and have a valid driving licence.
