GOLDENTYRE SPONSORS KTM JUNIORS AND EXTREME AND SUPERENDURO FACTORY RIDERS

KTM welcomes Goldentyre, makers of tyres, mousse and tubeless for motorcycles, as partner and sponsor for two of its important and developing areas of factory racing – the new KTM Juniors and Extreme and SuperEnduro.

The KTM Juniors is a program to develop the next generation of motocross race winners at the highest level, now in the hands of the very experienced Stefan Everts. Everts is supervising the future development of three KTM Juniors of great potential – Jorge Prado of Spain, British rider Conrad Mewse and New Zealander Josiah Natzke. All three have been major players in recent Junior World and European Championships.

Stefan Everts: “Goldentyre not only supports us with tyres, they also let us test new models and develop new rubber. I am personally looking forward to work with GT because it’s a dynamic and motivated company with a lot off passion.”

GT will also be lending invaluable support to KTM factory riders in the Extreme and SuperEnduro (indoor) disciplines, Factory Team Manager Alex Doringer has confirmed. These include factory rider Britain’s Jonny Walker, who launched his 2015 outdoor season with a win in the inaugural French Extreme event Alès Trêm on January 24 and is currently third overall in the points of the 2014-2015 SuperEnduro World Championship, and Germany’s Andreas Lettenbichler. Lettenbichler, a regular front-runner in any Extreme Enduro was third at Alès Trêm.

“GT are an awesome sponsor and partner,” Doringer confirmed, saying he too was looking forward to working with the company.
