Op 4 januari 2015 zal Henk voor het eerst in 10 jaar niet van start gaan in de Dakar Rally. Na 10 Dakars en 10 finishes, waarvan 3x een top 10 en 7x een top 20 klassering , een unieke prestatie die moeilijk te evenaren of te verbeteren zal zijn.

In deze jaren was Henk een van Nederlands beste motorcoureurs, en het besef hiervoor komt pas nu het besluit genomen is om niet naar de Dakar rally 2015 te gaan. Het afzien, lijden en doorzetten in de 2014 editie viel niet mee, maar de voldoening voor een super mooie 15e plaats en 10e keer finishen hierin voelde als een overwinning.

Zoals altijd komt er na de Dakar een zwart gat, waarin lichaam en geest toegeven aan de rust, die je dan krijgt. Meestal na een maandje ben je dan weer terug in het oude ritme en start je met de voorbereidingen van een nieuwe Dakar.

Deze keer was de motivatie en het gevoel hiervoor ver te zoeken. Drukke werkzaamheden op de zaak, druk met het begeleiden van de startende motorcross carrière van Jeremy en Damien, en nog geen zin om zelf echt op de motor te zitten.

Training sessions for the Six Days Argentina have started and some riders took advantage of it to get on their bikes in Cuyo’s lands for the first time. The paddock will open the doors to spectators.

We are only five days away to start the action in San Juan for the 89th edition of the International Six Days of Enduro. However, teams have started today with training sessions in the circuit specially made behind the Bicentennial Stadium, which will take place until next Saturday.

From early in the morning, competitors dressed up and headed to the circuit were they tested their vehicles for the first time in San Juan. Practice sessions were extended to the afternoon and great part of the participants started their sessions.

Canadians and Australians were the first ones on the circuit and both teams were satisfied with it.

Gearing up for an exciting end to the 2014 FIM enduro calendar, the eighty-ninth edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) will make its home in San Juan, Argentina. Returning to Latin America for the fourth time in the history of the event, the race will take centre stage from during the first full week of November.

Long regarded as one of the most important events on the enduro calendar, this year’s edition of the race will welcome over five hundred and fifty riders from thirty different nations to compete. No strangers to international enduro competition, event organisers Mas Eventos are keen to put their two years experience of staging the FIM Enduro World Championship in 2012 and 2013 to good use and host an event that is certain to become the pinnacle of the 2014 enduro season.

With a vast array of varied and demanding terrain on offer, the eighty-ninth edition of the ISDE will test the best enduro riders from around the World. Leaving the comforts of the paddock, which is situated in the heart of bustling San Juan, competitors will face five long and demanding days of riding–covering up to two hundred and sixty kilometres each day across the surrounding country side. The race will then be brought to a thrilling close on day six at the nearby ASER motocross circuit with a live televised broadcast.

Lucas Dolfing rijdend voor TM Racing Nederland heeft de zesde wedstrijd om het Open Nederlands Kampioenschap Enduro in Hellendoorn weten te winnen. De club MCNH in Hellendoorn had er alles aan gedaan om er een mooie enduro van te maken. Er waren zoals meestal drie proeven uitgezet; de eerste proef was om en nabij de crossbaan van Hellendoorn. De tweede proef was in het bos bij het welbekende zandgat van Hellendoorn. De derde en laatste proef was bij Klein Kromhof; deze proef bestond uit een deel van een crossbaan en een deel bouwland en er waren veel hindernissen in verwerkt. In de eerste ronde ging het Lucas Dolfing nog niet zo goed af.
